As a child, I remember thinking that drawing the signs at the supermarket would be my ideal profession and that cursive was just about the most amazing thing ever created. Looking back, my parents should have put me in some sort of therapy then, but instead they encouraged my creativity and told me to follow my dreams. 1000s of crayons later and stacks of sketchbooks pages filled, I’m doing what I love.

I believe everything deserves to be beautiful and thoughtful. If it’s important enough to include in your life (if even for a moment), make it yours. Don’t do things just to get them done or do it a certain way to because that’s how someone else did it.

Always look on the bright side… because the dull side doesn’t sparkle.
